Boeing (BA) exec Tom Albaugh sees his company as part of the long-term plan for turning around American Airlines (AMR) with orders for 13 777s, 143 737s, and 32 787s still on tap to make the carrier "cost-competitive." In the short-term, he sees AMR continuing to fly leased jets from Boeing with renegotiated terms.
