The BoE's claim that U.K. inflation was set to fall sharply looks to be playing out as the CPI rises just 0.2% in November, bringing the Y/Y rate down to 4.8% from 5% in October and 5.2% before that. In fact, says RBS, strip away the VAT increase and the inflation problem nearly disappears.
