Too early to identify causes of North Sea copter crash, investigators say

U.K. air crash investigators say it's too early to determine the causes of last week's fatal helicopter crash in the North Sea that led to the grounding of much of the helicopter fleet used to send crew and equipment to oil and gas platforms.

Teams are still searching for the voice and flight data recorder of the Super Puma copter (EADSF.PK, EADSY.PK) that crashed.

Determining the causes of the accident will be crucial in deciding whether the suspension of Super Puma flights can be lifted; BP has warned that an extended grounding would have a "major impact" on energy operations.
