Disney walks the line between commercials payday and binge viewing

Disney (DIS +5%) CEO Bob Iger didn't call it a "binge viewing" revenue bonanza, but he did call out during the firm's CC the opportunity it has in the future to increase revenue by offering full seasons to Pay-TV providers for video-on-demand.

The company thinks one day it can monetize the VOD and SVOD channels to make up for potential lost broadcast advertising revenue, but in the present it will "protect" the value of a commercial.
