Developers have mixed feelings about the high-res display expected to accompany the iPad 3. Graphics-intensive iPad 3 apps will require much more processing power and video memory than comparable iPad 2 apps, and could also be much larger. But while developers aren't thrilled, the extra demands placed by the display could benefit mobile processor vendors such as QCOM, NVDA, and TXN, should rival tablet makers follow suit.
