The Treasury will inject another $7.5B into GMAC, which could give the government a majority stake in the car lender if it chose to exercise its options. Earlier this month, stress-test results pegged GMAC's capital shortfall at $11.5B. GMAC is owned jointly by GM (GM) and Cerberus.
