It's all about being "fair".

Fair, in the current definition, means that if you make more than I do, you owe me money.

Pure nonsense! Tax the rich is the ONLY solution these obamaniacs know. No creativity, originality, ideas required! Taxing the rich for everything will automatically make everybody else rich - except the one you are taxing of course! But wait this is a just a means to tax everybody as we are all going to get rich. Hats off, what a novel concept, Obama!

How is it posible that so many people have fallen for this hoax and when will we wake up and realize this is bs. I guess the new mantra in the U.S. is tax the rich give to the poor. This will not do much but destroy this economy.

Not surprising. Pretty hard to verify, but back around 2004 one of the "green" magazines did a survey of the (supposedly) top ten pro enviro-politicians' homes and found that none of them met current standards for energy efficiency. That included Al Gore, who was probably the main focus.

And until the recent econo-crunch, one of the main reasons for rich people in California installing solar was not to save the earth, but so they would not have to cut back on their life style.

Apply the tax at the point of purchase. When they want a new jet, yacht or Lambo they'll have to pay 250% tax! For those items they already have boost the registration fees by 500%.

Target Martha's Vineyard, Silicon Valley, Madoff Florida (oh wait, they are no longer wealthy) and certain sections of Washington D.C.

I got an idea. Let's just levy a pollution tax on the wealthy.
