FDIC's Bair wants lawmakers to impose fees on large financial firms to create an industry-supported fund covering unanticipated losses when a firm is wound down. The move would "provide an economic incentive for an institution not to grow too large." (Bair testifies in Congress at 10:00)

Just get on with it and break up these firms.

Look at all the political capital spent trying to ruin the medical system. Spend some of that political capital on "trust busting" like Teddy Roosevelt did.
