United chief Munoz returns from heart transplant next week

United Continental (NYSE:UAL) says CEO Oscar Munoz is returning to work following recovery from a heart transplant.

He'll be back on the job full-time as of March 14. Munoz had taken medical leave since a heart attack Oct. 15, with general counsel Brett Hart acting as CEO.

Munoz had a heart transplant on Jan. 6. The company says Munoz has been taking part in decisions, and meeting with employees and shareholders during his recovery.
