House Speaker Paul Ryan said yesterday that Republicans are working on changes to their healthcare bill, the American Health Care Reform Act, providing more generous tax credits for older citizens (ages 50 - 64) and a work requirement for the Medicaid program allowing states to impose the requirement for able-bodied Medicaid recipients.

He added that the bill remains on track for a Thursday vote in the House.

President Trump told reporters that the effort to sell the proposal was "going well."
