Toyota to invest $1.33B in Kentucky plant

The investment "is further evidence that manufacturers are now confident that the economic climate has greatly improved under my administration,” says the president in a statement.

The Georgetown, KY plant produces Camrys, and it  will be the first plant in North America to make cars using Toyota New Global Architecture.

The $1.33B investment is part of Toyota's (NYSE:TM) plan to invest $10B in the U.S. over the next five years.
