Report: Nissan to spend up to $1.8B in dealer restructuring

Nissan (OTCPK:NSANY) will restructure its dealer shop system in Japan over the next five years, at a cost of ¥100B-¥200B (about $903M-$1.81B), Yomiuri reports.

That means creating five kinds of outlets -- possibly including coffee shops, or locations inside shopping malls -- that divide the market into 200-300 areas.
