Ford announces $350M transmission plant investment

Ford (F +1.3%) announces that it will invest $350M to upgrade a transmission plant in Livonia, Michigan.

The company says the investment is part of its planned $9B commitment to retain jobs in the U.S.

The Livonia facility is used by Ford to build six-speed and 10-speed transmissions for the Mustang, F-150, Transit and Expedition models.
