Libya’s biggest oil field reportedly is shut down due to a protest by workers, halting production of ~270K bbl/day.

Before the halt, Libya's oil production was at its highest since October 2014, when the country pumped 850K bbl/day.

The Sharara field is operated by NOC in partnership with Repsol (OTCQX:REPYF, OTCQX:REPYY), Total (NYSE:TOT), Statoil (NYSE:STO) and OMV (OTC:OMVJF).
