Sources tell Bloomberg that Amazon will begin selling Nike (NKE +1.8%) products through a brand registry program aimed at keeping counterfeit goods off its website.
The relationship could help Nike diminish the market for knockoffs.
The news that Nike might make the move has rocked the share prices of sporting goods chains and shoe sellers today.
