- Bankruptcy protection hasn't ended its problems. Takata (TKTDY) is recalling an additional 2.7M airbag inflators in the U.S. after concluding they could explode in a crash despite using a chemical additive to ensure their safety.
- The inflators were installed in vehicles manufactured by Nissan (OTCPK:NSANY), Mazda (OTCPK:MZDAY) and Ford (NYSE:F), according to a recall notice posted to the NHTSA.
