Alaska Communications in new six-year labor deal with workers

• Alaska Communications (ALSK +0.9%) has come to terms on a new collective bargaining agreement with workers.
• The deal, reached with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 1547, was ratified Dec. 8 and is good through the end of 2023.
• It covers all of the company's represented workforce, about 320 employees in Alaska.
• “The new CBA provides wage and benefit certainty to our employees while allowing the company to proactively respond to technology and operating model shifts to serve our customers in ways that allow us to win in the market," says company CEO Anand Vadapalli.
