- Circa, the digital news product taken over by Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBGI -1.3%) in late 2015, is expanding with a new video-driven live news app.
- The launch next week will bring an app offering "unique live video" focused on breaking news and alerting users as stories develop. It will leverage Sinclair's national news desk in Washington for resources, along with more than 70 local newsrooms around the country.
- A launch of Circa's news site in summer 2016 has drawn more than 31M video views and 2.5M Facebook fans.
