- Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Continental AG (OTCPK:CTTAF, OTCPK:CTTAY) team up to develop an autonomous vehicle system based on Nvidia’s Drive AI platform.
- Last month, Nvidia said 320 companies are involved in developing self-driving cars using Drive. Those companies include Uber, Volkswagen, Tesla, and Baidu.
- Continental also works with Baidu on a self-driving program and is part of an automaker consortium working on full autonomous driving systems. The BMW-led consortium also includes Fiat Chrysler and Intel vision systems subsidiary Mobileye.
- The Nvidia-Continental system will include the auto supplier’s sensors and will be introduced in 2021.
- Nvidia shares are down 4.3%.
