Land and Buildings Investment Management (L&B) issues a letter to the shareholders of RLJ Lodging Trust (NYSE:RLJ) to protest against a recent board appointment.
L&B said RBJ needs a professional who is more experienced in operations and capital allocation.
L&B also alleged that the interests of RLJ Chairman, CEO, and CFO are "misaligned" given their out-sized compensation.
RLJ recently appointed Robert McCarthy - the former COO of Marriott International as a board member.
