Tucows sees multiples in Q4 profits, revenues

Tucows (NYSEMKT:TCX) boosted sales by nearly double in its Q4 report as revenues more than doubled in its domain services units.

EBITDA doubled as well (to $15.3M), and net income was up nearly fourfold to $11.2M (with the help of a $5.8M positive impact from tax reform adjustment).

The company remains on track to see acquisition synergies bringing about $5M in incremental annualized EBITDA by 2019, says CEO Elliott Noss.

Revenue by segment: Network Access Services, $25.2M (up 34.1%); Wholesale domain services, $52.9M (up 108%); Retail domain services, $8.7M (up 124%); Portfolio domain services, $3.9M (up 459%).

After an early tumble, shares have regained positive ground and are on the move up, now +1.2%.
