Netflix clarifies gaming plans

Netflix (NFLX +4.4%) says it's producing an interactive Minecraft series for kids and licensing Stranger Things for a video game. The company's disclosure falls far short of a TechRadar exclusive in which sources said the company is prepping to add games to its subscription service.

Shares of GameStop (GME -4.3%) have tracked back a bit after the Netflix update. It's still possible that longer term plans are in the works at Netflix to integrate games.
