Home Depot making some noise in flooring

• Home Depot (HD -0.3%) is starting to show some influence in the private label flooring industry, observes Wedbush.
• The firm thinks the growing presence of Home Depot could increase competition for Lumber Liquidators (LL -4.5%) and Floor Decor Holding (FND -7.3%).
• Home Depot's website shows 53 different products listed under the LifeProof Luxury Vinyl Planks product category alone.
• LL and FND could also face a headwind if sourcing from China becomes more costly amid the dueling tariff battle.
