FDA contacts e-cigarette makers over potential illegal marketing practices

The FDA has sent letters to 21 e-cig makers and importers, including those associated with the brands Vuse Alto, myblu, Myle, Rubi and STIG, seeking information about whether certain products are being illegally marketed outside of the agency's current compliance policy. The actions follow the FDA's recent initiatives to combat the alarming rate of use among young people.
