- UK regulators have given final approval to Nielsen's (NLSN -0.6%) deal to acquire the ad intelligence division of Ebiquity.
- The Competition and Markets Authority decided that despite competitive concerns, the design of the products and the fact that few customers switch between the two suggest they don't truly compete.
- The CMA had said in June that the deal would get a detailed look, as the two companies are the only suppliers of detailed ad intelligence across a range of UK media.
- It had given a preliminary OK last month.
