Ford updates on European sales

Ford (NYSE:F) announces sales in Europe fell 5.4% in November to 102,500 vehicles. Commercial vehicle sales were up 4.9%, while passenger car sales fell 9.3%.

The automaker's market share edged up 10 bps to 7.6%.

Ford's top three European markets by volume during the month were Germany (27.9K units), Britian (23.4K) and Itlay (11.5K).

Europe sales update: "Ford is capitalizing on the growth in the SUV segment, exceeding a quarter million SUVs sold for the first time ever this year, driven by the success of EcoSport and Kuga. Commercial vehicles remain a cornerstone of our business, as we grow our leadership with sales at a 25-year high."
