Netflix's (NASDAQ:NFLX) Roma won Best Film at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards on Sunday, scooping up the top prize at the star-studded event in London.
The black and white drama, a cinematic love letter to director Alfonso Cuaron's childhood in Mexico City, is also nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, further propelling Netflix into the Hollywood club of elite filmmakers.
