General Electric (NYSE:GE) is exploring a sale of its 50% stake in a renewable energy joint venture with Italy’s Enel (OTC:ELPSY), a deal that could be valued at more than $1B excluding debt, Reuters reports.

The JV, called EGPNA Renewable Energy Partners, was formed in late 2016 between Enel’s U.S.-based Enel Green Power North America subsidiary and GE Energy Financial Services.

The JV’s assets include the Cimarron Bend wind farm in Kansas and the Lindahl wind farm in North Dakota.
