Stocks pare losses after FOMC sees patient stance `for some time'

  • Stocks bounce, erasing some of their earlier losses, after the Fed's minutes showed the policy-setting committee expect to keep a patient stance on rates "for some time."
  • The Nasdaq, down 0.2%, had fallen 0.5% earlier; the S&P 500 pared its 0.3% loss to 0.1%; and the Dow, down 0.2%, had been down 0.4%.
  • The 10-year Treasury yield falls 3.5 basis points to 2.394%; (TLT +0.5%), (TBT -1%).
