- Intelsat (I) has successfully launched its Intelsat 39 satellite.
- The satellite, made by Maxar (MAXR), will provide video distribution and connectivity for mobile network operators, enterprises, governmental entities and aeronautical and maritime service providers operating in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
- The satellite will replace Intelsat 902 at 62 degrees East.
- Intelsat is up 1.5% after hours.
