Tesla eyes price hikes in China

|About: Tesla, Inc. (TSLA)|By: , SA News Editor

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is considering raising vehicle prices in China after September, sources tell Reuters.

The potential action by the EV automaker follows a devaluation in the yuan to past the key 7.00 per USD mark and a new tariff threat from President Trump on Chinese imports.

Tesla aims to start producing Model 3s out of its Shanghai gigafactory as early as this year.

Shares of Tesla are flat in premarket action at $230.77.
