- Weight Watchers (WW +2.4%) is facing some criticism for the introduction of a new app aimed at kids called Kurbo by WW.
- Despite the objections of some dieticians, the company is defending the new app for kids between the ages of 8 and 17.
- "This is a scientifically proven way to get kids to eat healthier and move more, so we’re excited to get it into as many hands as possible," notes WW's Chief Scientific Officer Gary Foster.
