Magellan starts refined products transportation on Houston to Hearne pipeline

  • Magellan Midstream Partners (MMP -0.6%) says it started operation of a new 135-mile refined products pipeline from its East Houston terminal to Hearne, Tex.
  • MMP also says it completed construction of a pipeline spur from the new system to the George Bush Airport and will start operation by Nov. 1, once testing is finalized.
  • The company is constructing a new refined products terminal in Midland, Tex., and expects it to be operational in mid-2020.
