- American Airlines (NASDAQ:AAL) jumps 12%; Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), down 6.5%, had been down as much 19%; United Airlines (NASDAQ:UAL), down 15%, had declined as much as 27% earlier; Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV), fell 9.1%, vs. -13% earlier.
