Chimerix secures $100M capital raise

• Chimerix (NASDAQ:CMRX) has priced its public offering of ~11.8M common shares at $8.50/share, for expected gross proceeds of $100M.
• Underwriters' over-allotment is an additional ~1.8M shares.
• Net proceeds will be used to fund the clinical development of its product candidates, commercial pre-launch activities and general corporate purposes.
• Closing date is January 25.
