BigC is getting left in the dust with all the partnerships Shopify is forging. TODAY, for example:““Pinterest is an inspiring place to shop and we're excited to expand our partnership with Shopify to help merchants in 27 more countries grow their shopping presence on Pinterest globally. Small and medium businesses in particular have the opportunity to thrive on Pinterest because they connect with consumers in a positive environment when they are early in their decision-making journey and full of purchase intent. With the retail ecosystem profoundly evolving over the past year, we’re committed to supporting merchants of all sizes by providing them with a quick and easy access to our shopping features without the need to edit code or deploy resources so they can inspire consumers for what to do or buy next.” - Bill Watkins, Global Head of Mid-Market and Small Business Sales at Pinterest.”

Bigc is just the wayyyyyyy too little wayyyyy too late for everything e-commerce. They have only 0.5% market share on the DTC power list (AND SHRINKING) while Shopify had 59% (AND GROWING). Real businesses are choosing Shopify at over 1000 to 1 ratio.BigC is on a path to annihilation with there VERY SLOW 18% growth while other in the industry are growing significantly faster AT SCALE. That scenario only ends one way for them.

Too little too late. How is BigC going to compete with all the consumers and merchants Shopify’s Shop App is attracting at a parabolic trajectory, with being ranked NUMBER ONE shopping related in Google Play (EVERYONE is using it and loves it)....

Square and BigC together don’t make up 1% of the DTC Power List, when Shopify makes up 59%. Real
Businesses do not choose either BigC or Square for e-commerce.
