- Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE:BUD) has named Michel Doukeris, President of AB InBev’s North America Zone to succeed Carlos Brito as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July, 2021.
- Brito will step down after 15 years as CEO and 32 years at the company.
- Mr. Doukeris joined the company in 1996 and ran the company’s soft-drinks business in Latin America before heading up its Asia-Pacific operations. The Brazilian was AB InBev’s chief sales officer before taking over in 2018 as the CEO of its U.S. subsidiary, Anheuser-Busch.
