Late last year, Dropbox (NYSE:DB) became a Virtual First company with remote work the primary default for individual first.
The company is now launching Dropbox Studios, offices where Dropbox employees have the option to meet up in person for collaboration.
Sites previously aligned with a Dropbox office (San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, etc.) will have access to Studios. Dropbox plans to roll out more spaces in the future.
Dropbox is also implementing core collaboration hours, "blocks of time set aside for meetings that allow employees to build the rest of their schedule around their lives. "
