Shortly after becoming the 2nd country in the Americas to launch a Bitcoin ETF, Brazil has now become the 2nd nation inside the Americas to launch an Ethereum ETF. Canada was the first country in both instances.
The Brazil Securities and Exchange Commission has approved QR Capital's QETH11 to trade on the Sao Paulo-based B3 Exchange. The Winklevoss' Gemini exchange will provide custody services.
Checking prices, ether (ETH-USD) continues to struggle alongside the broader crypto market, down more than 5% today and just below $1,900. The Grayscale Ethereum Trust (OTCQX:ETHE) is down 3% premarket.
