Embraer flies after winning orders for 60 electric aircraft

- Embraer (ERJ +4.9%) says its Eve Urban Air Mobility electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft subsidiary received orders for 60 eVTOLs from two Australian companies; no financial details are disclosed.
- Today, Embraer entered a partnership with Sydney Seaplanes to start offering electric air taxi operations in the greater Sydney region, including an order of 50 eVTOLs to be delivered starting in 2026.
- Over the weekend, the company said Australian helicopter operator Nautilus had ordered 10 of Eve's eVTOL aircraft to operate at Queensland's tourist attractions.
- Embraer is "better positioned than most for [the] aviation transformation," Valkyrie Trading Society writes in an earlier analysis published on Seeking Alpha.
