U.S. Army develops COVID vaccine effective against all variants, including Omicron

• Researchers at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research have developed a pan-coronavirus vaccine effective against all variants, including Omicron, Defense One reports.
• In preclinical studies, the Spike Ferritin Nanoparticle (SpFN) vaccine was shown to offer significant protection in non-human primates.
• "The repetitive and ordered display of the coronavirus spike protein on a multi-faced nanoparticle may stimulate immunity in such a way as to translate into significantly broader protection," said Kayvon Modjarrad, director of the Emerging Infectious Diseases Branch at Walter Reed.
• Modjarrad told Defense One that phase 1 trials in humans were positive with results undergoing final review.
• The next stage is to see how the pan-coronavirus vaccine interacts in those who have either been vaccinated or have had COVID before. Walter Reed is working with an unnamed company on that facet.
• Last month, Novartis (NYSE:NVS) said it was researching a pan-coronavirus oral therapy. Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA), Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), and AstraZeneca (NASDAQ:AZN) are working on Omicron-specific vaccines.

Seems like the Army would have a great idea if the whole problem was the immune system identifying the virus; however, that's not the whole problem. The virus carries with it a payload of inhibitors that prevent recognition and action by the immune system (I think, from reading about it - I'm not a doctor). The nanoparticle presumably wouldn't have the virus's defenses.

Putin’s deadline appears linked to a potential Omicron outbreak among his troops that are in close quarters (ie., mess halls, bathrooms, etc; in my humble opinion)…

If true, will impact his forces readiness to fight….

They still don’t have a vaccine for coronavirus. The definition of a true vaccine means you won’t get said disease. The polio vaccine assures you won’t get polio. There’s a reason they call the flu shot the flu shot and not the flu vaccine. Any young healthy individual who takes the COVID vaccine is a fool unless someone has underlying health conditions. Just look at the European soccer league where vaccination is a requirement to compete and they have had 5 times the normal cardiac arrest events. My uncle died shortly after getting the vaccine due to blood clots which led to a massive stroke. He had never in his 71 years had a problem with blood clots. These vaccines are risky but the mainstream propaganda media won’t tell that side of the story.

Only fools would not get vaccinated after 800,000 US deaths and 5 million deaths worldwide for a completely preventable disease.
The risk of blood clots and cardiac events (not to mention deaths) is dramatically higher in acute Covid infections than the extremely rare events in the vaccinated population.

Even if DOD has patented genetic sequence they will give sequence to mRNA vaccine companies, just like NIH gave to MRNA.
To replicate a DNA sequence vaccine will take much longer to produce than than mRNA technology that can replicate by way of computer. To grow DNA will add 6 months or more depending amount of vaccines produce. Once MRNA & BNTX have code they can start spitting out vaccines via computer.
Maybe DOD, as NIH, will to share for giving code, but imo if this technology succeeds, MRNA PFE/BNTX will be first to and dominate market for first months or more.

Does anyone know if Army has filed any patents???? If they have not releasing progress at this point seems incredibly stupid considering the following;
Army is right across the street from NIH.
NIH had patent on mRNA, went after MRNA and MRNA folded.
No patent they just gave away the golden goose to not only China, but countless companies around the world. Having not yet sold a product yet, the chances of Army winning a patent court battle with private competitors who beat them to patient office or NIL.
