Converting these little USPS delivery trucks to EVs is ideal in that they start and stop hundreds of times a day and starting is when they use the most fuel and spue out the most pollution.

@Ruffdog They don't turn the trucks off when they stop at a mailbox. They do when delivering packages but not everybody gets packages. UPS and FedEx could deliver better and cheaper to a lot of addresses. The problem is Congress and now the President! Dictates from DC are stupid.

@JohnBeck11 These will also be used on city routes. My route was only 10 miles driving over 6 1/2 hour period. I would drive a short distance, usually under 1/2 mile, shut the vehicle off and would be parked there anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes. Counting parcels I would start my vehicle and turn it off close to 60 times a day.
