- China-based on-demand retail company Missfresh (NASDAQ:MF) is expanding its China-wide vegetable farm network to more than 1,300 hectares through a newly signed deal.
- The company is adding nearly 70 hectares of land in Luliang County in Yunnan Province to directly source vegetables from local farms.
- The deal employs an order-based planting model that will use sales forecasts to determine production levels. This will enable Missfresh to guarantee the stable supply of vegetables from the county.
