Allegiant Travel to establish aircraft base in Provo, Utah

  • Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ:ALGT) plans to invest ~$95M to set up a new base of operations at Provo Airport in Utah.
  • Allegiant began operating at the Provo airport in 2013 and currently offers eight non-stop routes from there. The latest investment will help establish a four-aircraft base at the airport, creating at least 157 new, high-wage jobs.
  • Base operations in Provo will expected to commence on Nov. 16, 2022.
