The big new thing, a number of years ago was JIT (Just In Time) to reduce inventory cost. But, it also introduced “Oh JIT, we’re out of supplies. Before JIT, the massive supply issues we’re having, would not have been as bad.

outsourcing. offshoring, delocalization, third party logistics—let’s give up control of our company’s future to someone who doesn’t know our business, has never set foot in america and probably doesn’t speak english.

us a few bucks. or maybe not.
but thats ok. if there's money to be made, the company we’re entrusting with our future will be able to knock us off at lower prices and we could learn a lot from that. if we’re still in business😱
