Marijuana Strategic Ventures now becomes Mushroom Inc, appoints new CEO
- Marijuana Strategic Ventures (OTCPK:MSVI) announced Tuesday that it has changed its name to Mushroom Inc, effective June 27.
- The company anticipates that the new ticker symbol for its common stock will be “MYCO” (or such other symbol as may be proposed by the company and approved by FINRA).
- In addition, the company has announced the appointment of Kimberly Carlson as its new chief executive officer, while its former CEO James Hancock has been appointed as chief operating officer of the company.
- Donald Steinberg, the company’s director, commented, "The name change to Mushrooms, Inc. is fundamental to the company’s shift from a focus on the cannabis industry to the functional mushroom industry. I am thrilled to announce that our new CEO, Kimberly Carlson, will lead the transition to the emerging mushroom industry."
