Agios Pharmaceuticals hires new CEO

• Agios Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AGIO) has appointed Brian Goff as CEO and a member of its board of directors.
• Goff holds over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, serving as the executive vice president, chief commercial and global operations officer at Alexion Pharmaceuticals most recently.
• Current CEO Jackie Fouse will transition to chair of board of directors. Current chairman David Schenkein will remain on the board as a director.
• All changes are effective August 8, 2022.
