Samsung unveils foldable smartphones, smartwatches, headphones at Galaxy Unpacked event

Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF) showed off several new products at its Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, including two new foldable smartphones, smartwatches and headphones.

At the unveiling, Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF) showed off the Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, foldable Samsung smartphones that are similar in size and shape to their predecessors. The Z Flip 4 can be charged to 50% in just 30 minutes and comes with an upgraded camera that is 65% brighter.

It is powered by Qualcomm's (QCOM) Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform processor.

It starts at $999 and can be pre-ordered today, with the device available on August 26.

The 7.6-inch Z Fold 4 is also powered by Qualcomm's (QCOM) Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform processor and has a brighter screen and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It also comes with an upgraded camera system, including a 50MP wide lens and 30X Space Zoom lens.

The Z Fold 4 starts at $1,799 and can be pre-ordered today, with availability on August 26 as well.

The company also unveiled new wireless headphones, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2. They are 15% smaller than the previous version and support Hi-Fi 24bit audio. They can also be found using Samsung's (OTCPK:SSNLF) SmartThings Find app.

The new Galaxy Buds Pro 2 come in graphite, white and bora purple and can be pre-ordered today, with availability on August 26. They will cost $229.99.

Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF) also showed off its new Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro, both of which can be pre-ordered today, with availability on August 26.

On Tuesday, Samsung Electronics (OTCPK:SSNLF) said it would make an additional $3.3B investment in Vietnam in 2022 to start producing semiconductor components by July 2023.
