- Society Pass (NASDAQ:SOPA) has ventured into the Indonesian market with the acquisition of Jakarta-based online travel agency NusaTrip.
- Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
- Established in 2013, NusaTrip is the first Indonesian online travel agency accredited by the International Air Transport Association. It has onboarded +1.2M registered users, +500 airlines and +200,000 hotels around the world to date.
- Commenting on the deal, Society Pass CEO Dennis Nguyen said, "With this acquisition, SoPa now cross-pollinates and integrates our six verticals (loyalty, lifestyle, food & beverage, telecoms, digital media and travel) into one cohesive loyalty and e-commerce platform to provide enhanced products and services for our consumers and merchants throughout the largest countries of SEA."
