Ardelyx files $250M securities offering

• Biopharmaceutical firm Ardelyx (NASDAQ:ARDX) has filed to offer and sell up to a maximum aggregate offering price of $250M of its common stock, preferred stock, debt securities, warrants, and/or units.
• Terms of the offering are yet to be determined.
• The registration statement also contains a sales agreement prospectus supplement covering the offering of up to $150M of ARDX common stock from time to time under an open market sale agreement with Jefferies as sales agent.
• ARDX shares fell over 2% in Thursday's premarket session
